Hello Marshall Families,

I hope you are enjoying the long weekend.  Remember, there is no school Monday in observance of Labor Day.  Classes will resume on Tuesday, September 8.

Marshall’s Junior Model United Nations will hold its first meeting on after school at 3:45 on Wednesday, September 9 in Ms. Fox’s Room C304. Please look at the flyer below for more information and to join the JMUN Google Classroom.

Marshall Student Trips registration is now open! View trip dates, highlight videos, and registration information on the Marshall Student Trips Website for the 8th Grade East Coast Trip and 7th Grade Spring Break Trip.

Picture Day will take place on Friday, September 11. You must submit the 26-27 Universal Form, under your PowerSchool parent account, to allow your student’s picture to be published in the Yearbook. While you are logged in , please complete the other forms too:

• 26-27 LCFF SURVEY : MMS needs this info to ensure it receives all the state funding to which MMS is entitled. Thank you to 86.1% of families who have already submitted it! As always, the goal is 100% to ensure the school gets the appropriate funding.
• 26-27 FAMILY RESOURCE GUIDE: please acknowledge that you've received the pdf under your parent account. 75% had already acknowledged.
• 26-27 UNIVERSAL FORM: allows parents/guardians to submit Photo/Video/Media Release, Technology/Network Acceptable Use and acknowledge the Restorative Discipline Plan and Policy. 75.1% had already submitted it; thank you! In case you select "DO NOT PUBLISH", your student will NOT be in the 26-27 Yearbook. • 26-27 HEALTH INFORMATION EXCHANGE CONSENT FORM: please update your student health info asap, as nurse Lynda had requested. 77.3% had completed it; thank you.
