                                                                                            CURRENT NEWS

  • The after school Grab n’ Go Bags are for eating, not wasting or playing with.  One bag per student and please don’t take one if you are going to throw it on the ground.  There has been a lot of trash at the intersection of Ave. of Nations and Pomerado.  This is a poor reflection on Marshall Middle School.  Students caught littering in this area will receive consequences.  All of us need to do our part to take care of this campus.

  • Today at FCA we are welcoming guest speaker Major League Baseball All Star, Mike Sweeney. Mike is a 5 time All Star and played 13 seasons in the major leagues. He was a Kansas City Royal for most of his career where in 2002 he batted .340!  Come join us up near the basketball courts at lunch today to welcome Mike Sweeney to Marshall Middle School.

  • Please donate canned and dry goods to families in need to our Annual Food Drive through the 15th!  Food collection bins are in your math classrooms.

  • Students, please check the Lost and Found BOXES in the Office!  There are LOTS of water bottles, jackets, and other clothing.  EVERYTHING will be donated before the Winter break!

  • MONDAYS – COVID TESTING – B103 – 8-3pm - students can come on their own anytime between 8-3pm. Passing periods and lunch are always a good time.

    REMINDERS

  • Remember to visit Marshall’s ASB website to purchase Mustang T-shirts, sweatshirts, water bottles and more!  Look for details about the logo designing contest for their Apparel Now Shop. The winner will have their design featured in their shop.  Check out the Student Engagement page, you can provide suggestions for their morning announcements, the Marshall Market, song requests and more!

  • Students —for your own safety, please stay on the sidewalks when walking home, including the sidewalks around the school.  Also, obey all traffic signals and do not cut through the apartment complex across the street.  Any rock throwing or damage to property, including Vons and Starbucks, may be reported to the San Diego Police Department.

  • Students – please don’t cross the red lines in front of the buildings at lunch!
  • Students riding the 2nd round of buses in the afternoon – please be at the loading zone by 3pm or you will be left behind.  The bus leaves at 3:00!

  • Students are to remain in the lunch courts (A, B, and C) or in front of the MPR until the bell rings to go to class, especially before school and at the end of lunch.  Please do not congregate in the walkways, hallways, or building entrances!

  • PHONES, EARBUDS, or COMPUTERS are not allowed to be out or used at lunch.  If they are seen, they will be confiscated.  If you need to “work” on your computer, you can see if there is space in the Library.

  • Student Reminder – Masks are to cover your nose AND chin completely.

CLUBS – Students are to go directly to the club classroom within the first 5 minutes of lunch – you are NOT to hang out in the hallways.
